Crystal has spent many years experimenting with different mediums from oils to watercolors and everything in between. Her rural roots and love of nature have influenced her subject matter and the excitement of playing with textures and different media work well to invoke the viewer to think.Images from the past along with the old structures that are no longer inhabited has initiated the series for Residual Memories. Each building has a story of its own where people have lived or worked and the energy imprint has been left within the building.
